EY Leadership Program

The Ernst & Young Leadership Program is intended to educate and inspire Haskayne students. One of the best ways to learn throughout an undergraduate degree is through opportunities available outside of the classroom. In the EY program you will be challenged to develop your case analysis and presentation skills in a smaller and more friendly environment. By the last session you will have worked with four different groups of students and received invaluable advice from both accomplished Haskayne alumni and other leaders from the Calgary community.

Sponsored by EY, one of the big four accounting firms, this program caters to undergraduate students who would like to develop case preparation, presentation, and leadership skills. The program consists of four sessions in which students will  have a presentation from a guest speaker, and then analyze and present a business case. Students will participate in a collaborative environment and will be provided with guidance and support to foster growth. The program concludes with a case competition among the participants which will be presented to a panel of judges. Students will receive a certificate acknowledging their participation in the program and will be able to apply for recognition on their co-curricular record. Students are selected to participate in the program based on community/school involvement, academic merit, and a short essay describing their interest in the program.

This program is a great opportunity for ambitious students who wish to develop their leadership skills and enrich their Haskayne undergraduate experience through case-based learning.

Participants selected for the program are expected to attend all sessions.
